I have a Quest 2
I had noticed that just about 30 minutes ago when I was using the headset and I left my boundary.
There are a bunch of white dots scattered across the display whenever I'm using the password. There are hard to detect in a well-lit environment, but whenever The light is slightly dim They become more noticeable. I tried to clean up the lenses using microfiber cloth with no liquid. and tried to perform a factory reset on the device.
Either of them worked. I tried to clean the camera of the device using the same microfiber. And it was only partially successful in removing the dots.
It's important to note that it only happened during pass through.
I tested it by cranking up the contrast to the max and activated YouTube VR to get a dark environment and inside the VR Even in almost complete blackness, there were no dots at all. What could it be and how can I fix it?
It's important to note that I am taking care of the device. When it's not been used, it's been kept inside a case to prevent physical damage and it never been exposed to direct sunlight.
There had being a firmware update yesterda, could it be related? If so what are the odds that the damage could ne unfixable?
