BofA customer thinking about switching brokers from Fidelity to Merrill
Post Body

I primarily bank with BofA (platinum honors tier). I was wondering what perks you got for opening a self directed brokerage account with Merrill Edge.

Currently I dollar cost average into some ETFs (VOO/QQQ) and was wondering if you could set up reoccurring transfers/automatic investments with Merrill.

And also in doing so can you purchase partial shares. I currently am set up to have $100 dollars a week transferred into my broker automatically, and then automatically purchase $50 worth of VOO and $50 worth of QQQ. Is it possible to replicate this with Merrill and what are the fees associated with.
