Evil mercy only works as a mythic
Post Body

Just as the title says: an evil mercy skin would only work as a mythic skin. I understand a lot of people wanted a cute girly mythic but we can get cute mercy skins any day of the year. Mercy’s personality and voice lines are too sweet and wholesome for an evil skin normally. If the mythic we got was a legendary then it would come across more as Mercy being edgy rather than evil. The unique voice lines are needed for this concept to work and not clash with her normal personality.

To be fair though, I know the reason you really want a cute mythic is because you want her ult to be a different colour. Not to be presumptuous but I think the people who wanted a cute mythic really wanted a replacement for Pink Mercy. If Pink wasn’t exclusive I don’t think Vengeance would be nearly as controversial among Mercy players. I think it would be a waste to give her a mythic that barely changes her character.

Comments

I'm biased because I am lucky enough to own Pink Mercy lol. But I agree wholeheartedly. Even without it, I feel like I have enough suitable choices for when I want to be 'cute' on Mercy. The whole point of Mythics- to shake up a character in a unique way- would be totally lost on a Mercy mythic where the customizations are just three different ways to look really cute lol. She also wouldn't really need exclusive voice lines in this case either
