i moved within the last few months- i just bought a bundle and even though i changed my address it kept my default (old one.) shipper has already dropped off my package using UPS surepost.
i have a mail forward set up but the mercari label printed with my nickname (which is close to but not my legal name) so im not sure itll pick it up.
UPS said i need to contact the seller because he restricted changing the address. before i send the message to ask, does this seem shady or like im trying to scam? id prefer to have him set it up to be picked up at a UPS location- i have IDs with both new and old addresses. its shipping from california to arizona so i have to act quick. i didnt want to reach out to him initially but between the mychoice ups bs and the live chat theyve all told me to contact the seller.
i called my old apartment complex and they pretty much told me they dont have an obligation to hold and and if the residents pick it up, its theirs to return to sender or keep. this bundle had some rare pieces so im trying to figure out what to do ðŸ˜
