Hey all, I’ve been selling cards on eBay this last few months and have done very well. I recently acquired a card that’s worth 1400-1600 and I’d like to cross post to Mercari for a chance at more eyes. I read this Reddit and it scares me.
If I were to sell this item on Mercari, per info I’ve found on here. I would use my own shipping label probably with insurance if that’s any measure of safety I can feel. From the seasoned sellers who might have experience with high dollar sales I would be super grateful to get a play by play for how you would do it if someone bites.
I also have very few reviews as I just started cross listing but I have a note saying to ask for references or to view my eBay store which is 200 sales and 100% positive feedback with pretty awesome reviews (always grateful for when they review above and beyond. Just wondering if it’s worth the cross post for the big item or if I should just promote it more on eBay where I feel much more confident in a complete sale.
Thanks so much!
