Hi, I'm F (24) and I've been thinking about seeking professional help because these past few weeks have been hell for me. I've had issues with depression and anxiety in the past and ever since I got my first dose of the vaccine things have gone downhill for me. Everyday I've constantly been in a state of anxiety 24/7, panic attacks tend to happen during the afternoons throughout evenings and I haven't been able to concentrate on anything.
I have my board exams coming up this February and I want to be better or at least manage my symptoms well. I take beta-blockers (propranolol 40mg) but it seems as if I'm experiencing side effects (tingling sensation in the hands and feet) or it could just be because of the anxiety.
If anyone could at least provide to me sources or where I can start I'd gladly appreciate it. I've been prescribed anti-anxiety meds (alprazolam) in the past and they helped tremendously. I'm just terrified that I won't be able to do anything if I don't get the help I need now. The waves of depression are getting worse and I just want to help myself before things are too late.
