Drug induced psychosis with history of mental illness

Post Body

My ex has been missing for 6-months with no trace of him. He was a surgeon in his prime, 39 years old currently, but spiraled terribly and is now off the grid, homeless, not in touch with his family or anyone with warrants out for his arrest. What is the likelihood someone with history of mental illness and a drug induced psychosis which resembles schizophrenia can bounce back as a 40-year old ex-Mormon gay man who doesnโ€™t think he needs help?
