Diagnosed MDD here. I had a decent social life before I was diagnosed with depression, but now things are different. I don't go on social media anymore, and it's been months since I last talked to any person that's not family or co-worker. I don't socialize with people from work either, I don't have a problem with that tho.
I miss my friends, but I don't have the energy to reach out to them, or even at least reply to their messages. Sometimes I feel that it's better this way, but sometimes I think that connecting with them again could do me some good. Oftentimes I just feel that the entire process of socializing is exhausting. So, how do I go back to socializing? Is it even worth it going back?
