And not because I am mad at my father. I would say happy Father's Day to my Grandpa and mentor, without which I would ha e lost my mind. But you see, I lost my dad in 2009 and I have tried to stay strong and not think about it. Something happened on a super market that made me rethink hiding the pain.
There was a guy that seemed to be struggling paying his bill at the register, and a guy paid for his order and told him happy Father's Day. It made me realize that in my pain, I contributed to the problem of not giving a shit about Father's, even though I am on board. So long story short I am sorry and I hope I can improve the situation I also noticed overall there was not as much fan fare as Mothers day.
