As MRAs, we've got to start talking to people and identifying openly.

I'd like you to read a message I received

mean why do you think MRA's are associated with right-wing, anti-feminist rethoric? It's because they don't actually give a shit. They love toxic masculinity and traditional gender roles. They have no interest in changing anything which is why the only time they bring up men's issues is when they can do so to shutdown discussions about problematic behaviours of men

This was yesterday. This is still what people think of us.

The only way this is going to change is if we start letting people know who we are as people. The loudest voices of the "manosphere" are obnoxious redpillers like Tate, so this is the image many people have of us. This won't change until people see that their friends, family and neighbors are MRAs.

Another piece of advice- be respectful. Be calm. Don't simply bash feminism, explain specifically what your objects are (" well, this organization lobbied against equal rights for male DV victims", etc). We need to win people over, and to do that, we need to change their minds, and to do that, we need to change the way people see us..
