Ah, so I do NOT have a tapeworm.
Edit: Am I supposed to link to the source of quote? Not an advocate for any sites out there but saw this on gennev.com when Googling menopause and hunger!
Edit: Great feedback. Thank you. Love the conversation starter. I actually talked to my PCP a couple of weeks ago about testing for tapeworms. I nixed that once she told me that it involves doing things with my poop lol. Did said things with my first ever colonoscopy 3 years ago and don’t have wish to do again. A hard no for me. I’d rather keep the tapeworm/gremlin I thought I’ve been nurturing. Just got the idea to search menopause/hunger and voila! Found the reason for it. Though no solution found. It’s three meals a day for me as usual, but when the pregnancy-like hangry overcomes me, eat a small snack like baby carrots, mixed nuts, or fruits i like that don’t upset my stomach as all foods do these days. Have become intolerant to Everything!
This sub is awesome but I joke that it jinxes me because a year ago when I came here at 52 I had zero peri signs except for heavier periods but since then I can place a check mark on quite a few of the things others here are going through.
