Tore my meniscus back in March. After doing my own rehab re-injured in BJJ after 5 months. I was already back to running 2 miles with ease in about 12 to 15 mins, cycling with no problems, but BJJ said, no.

Went to the Ortho this time. They recommended PT. I could only go 1 every 2 weeks. But was given exercises for home. Started doing peptides on my own and taking cissus quadrangularis for joint support. Freak accident in bed happened to reinjured my knee. I was asleep so I'm not sure what happened but my guess is it locked up and I bent it while turning in my sleep. Woke up to searing pain and was back to stage 1 just like that.

1 week out, I can weight bear but not for long. Still have plenty of pain but can get around ok. I'm not sure if what I'm experiencing is catching. Every once in a while it just feels like it might be locked up. It feels tight with a little bit of pain. If I were to just move it through the range of motion it feels like that would cause a re-ijnury. But a little relaxation and I'm able to do full range of motion. This happens with in seconds. Anyone have any idea if this catching or is it just trauma induced stiffness from the injury?

This is one of the worse injuries I've ever experienced and it sucks. I know a lot of us on here are going through it. But I'm glad we have this space to discuss. Here's to healing and recovering.
