I’m having what zu can only describe as a “rhythmic beep” in my tinnitus, which I would think is odd for such a generalized phenomenon. Anyone else ever encountered something like it?
The beep isn’t terribly loud, but definitely noticeable. The sound lasts about 1/2 second, with crisp initiation and conclusion. The beep comes about every 2 seconds. There may be a little fluctuation in the duration between sounds, but certainly only a tiny, barely noticeable amount. So far, it’s lasted for about half a day. (Yes, I’ve checked for an external origin of the sound, but have found none, and I almost undoubtedly would have heard something of it via my good ear anyway.)
