It made me feel genuinely happy when they talked about the support they were getting on TikTok from new generations of people who now talks more about sexual abuse and stands with the victims. I think is very important, more than ever, to show support and talk about their case in public, in whatever platform, bc if the retrail happens, the authorities need to REALLY FEEL the presion of the public in general that what they did was wrong with the brothers and that they deserve to walk FREE out of prison.
Another thought that crossed my mind was that TikTok is also full of hipersexualization of them, and I personally think that they are older and wiser enough to not to let that kind of thing affects them in any way, I strongly believe that they are really healing and they are somehow used to that kind of attention, because, YES, they were and are very attractive, and is hard not to notice.
Personally I think that people should be more respectful around the sexualization of them simply bc is not the message you want to send to other SA survivors. Its just not okay, survivors may get hurt and triggered by watching people hipersexualizing other survivors. I think this is the most important thing here. The brothers are now a symbol of resilience and thats the most important message we should be spreading like wild fire.
Anyways, thank you for reading. Sorry for my english, my first language is spanish.
