as someone who is also first gen american (but on both sides), i was wondering if lyle and erik has ever been truly attached/connected to their cuban heritage. did family members on their father’s side ever spoke to them in Spanish? do they (the brothers) at least understand/are passively bilingual in Spanish? Did Jose ever spoke to them in Spanish? Or at least taught them about their heritage? just wondering and if anyone can tell me, that would be great!!
