Infrared heaters interaction?

Hello, does anyone know if exposure to those cheap infrared heaters can interact / worsen melasma? The ones which generate a very bright red light like a grill :))
My partner just moved in a very humid environment and we have to plug them few hours a day. I usually stay 1 meter distance (the wave distance apparently) so i don't feel any direct heat, there's no uv but there's an exposure for sure.
Thoughts?
