I'm a little disappointed that at the end of the game we get to see Fred being the caretaker of the reincarnated Embryon Angel, but no Roland. Maybe it would be weird to have a much older character also get reincarnated as a child but I still think he deserved better. Hell, maybe he was reincarnated too but we just don't get to see it.

I wasn't big on him at first, but the guy finally tries getting over the death of his best friend, brings Cielo to your party and even injects himself with the demon virus so that he can fight by your side.

The guy then literally goes on to tell you that he'll buy your party time so that you can continue going on and is fully prepared to go and fight Meganada completely alone, despite knowing it basically wiped out all his men already. The only reason he doesn't fight it completely alone is because Argilla joins him by her own accord, and not because he asked for help. He sacrifices himself to save the party, and at that point he truly felt like a real part of the Embryon too.

I get that he doesn't get as much screen time as the other characters, and he isn't really as interesting at first glance. Hell, he doesn't even join you for the final dungeon if you said the right things to Heat. But I still cared for him, and I would have loved to see him reincarnated in some way too, even if it was just a small nod in some way.
