I'm tired of going on /r/Kikpals or /r/Snapchat and people saying they are looking for friends or connection to only be solicited to buy stuff. Does anyone actually care about friendship? I just want to feel close to someone, ya know?

A little about me. I'm a disabled veteran. As far as disabled: I have several mobility issues so I rarely leave the house other than appointments. This has made meeting people difficult. I am big into gaming and reading. I have all day and night pretty much to chat, especially since I hardly sleep. I have 3 culinary degrees and a degree in construction. I love gardening, I have a garden with local wildflowers and an apple tree. I have a service dog and 2 cats who I spend all day with.
