Every time I start thinking of a post i have the urge to write “in this essay I will…” yes pls get after me English professors. Anyways, I have various lists on my phone I haven’t shared with anyone so why not share this one with you.

These are the jobs I wanted when I was growing up I’ll try and put them in order and you can guess what year I was born.. doesn’t matter my age is right up there.

1. Archaeologist ( I loved Indiana Jones I didn’t pursue it because I was not so interested in history and learned from an art teacher that in many cases people stole artifacts)
2. Paleontologist ( Jurassic park am I right? )
3. Teacher ( would not survive a day as I have no patience, cannot explain a simple movie or thought process and kids scare me )
4. Scientist ( I just wanted to wear the white coat tbh.. what would I have created? No idea i was never good at science )
5. Fashion designer ( I watched a bunch of TLC what not to wear and said.. these people have no style I would totally know what to wear - I live in oversized tee shirts, ripped jeans and vans and never learned jack shit about sewing or anything really )
6. Drummer / Electric Guitar-ist? I’m the famous words of Ferris Beuller.. “never had one lesson” ( my dad warned me learning guitar would hurt my fingers )
7. UFC fighter - never been in a fight, knew that I would have to change my diet drastically and would hate to have my nose broken as I do like my nose. I still think about this one a lot tho I do love a good fight I think I have a nice kick.
8. Psychologist ( and I saw freaky Friday and said I can do that just gotta ask “how does that make you feel?” If only it was that easy huh? Anyways I remember seeing movies in which the therapist died by hands of their clients and I was afraid it didn’t matter because by the time I got to college I was no longer interested and thought how am I supposed to help others if I can barely help myself ) If you’ve gotten this far I truly commend you and if you’re interested in sharing your dream jobs I’m all ears let’s laugh at how dumb I was
