Please be a parent! (I would accept a childcare worker/teacher if you think you might be helpful in any way)
I'm seeking to talk to someone who gets it. I am in the middle of a custody and divorce case but I've been having a hard time organizing my stuff regarding my case. Honestly I have a hard time staying on task in general. It would be ideal if you've also went to a domestic violence shelter or have been in an abusive relationship with a partner and have gone through similar experiences, but ultimately I'm wanting to connect to other parents!
About me:
-mother of a 3 year old and an 8 month old, both boys
-i got my driver's permit this year, and slowly getting there to be my own adult!
-I think I may have autism since I have noticed I tend to think differently a lot. I'm in the process of trying to get diagnosed.
-my 3 year old has a hard time with daily activities and he very likely has autism too. We've been trying to get him diagnosed too, but waiting lists for kids to be seen for diagnosis are long.
-I'm bisexual and nonbinary! I enjoy talking about labels, sexuality and gender!
-IMPORTANT: I've been obsessed with cloth diapers. It's been interesting trying to see what works and what doesn't, and I enjoy collecting them. I'd just love to rant about my journey since most people just don't get it
-I enjoy cooking and food. I think my 3 year old is lactose intolerant and I've been trying to get him on a better diet. It's been difficult
-It's pretty difficult getting my 3 year old to potty train. I would love to talk about this.
-I really enjoy talking about picture books and kid's shows and other children's media. I would absolutely love it if we could talk about that. It would make me VERY happy to find someone else equally into them as I am. I've been watching Doc Mcstuffins nonstop◖⚆ᴥ⚆◗
