Post Body

I'm at that stage of life where old friends are scattering or fading, and we all know how hard it is to make new genuine connections as adults in this age. Seems to just be something that happens at some point, and I find myself a little bit socially stranded.

I'm a life long Chicagoan, but I almost feel like a transplant from somewhere else at the moment. I'm into geeky interests - PC or Switch games, Anime, fantasy and sci-fi series, Magic, etc. I also rock climb and I've been practicing Poi spinning recently. Big into various types of EDM, haven't been into the festival scene but not opposed to changing that.

It'd be great to meet someone and from there meet their friends or the people they also hang out with, and get integrated into a new social web of people again. Maybe theres a Halloween party I can snag an invite to?

I like to make genuine connections, conversations past just the weather or hobbies we have in common, getting down to what makes us tick as human beings and how to stay positive in today's world.

I'm looking mainly for local connections - not opposed to online, but honestly I do have a hard time staying consistent over long distance.
