Hi, I’m Jay!

I’ve spent life working hard and taking things very “serious.” I’ve reached a point however where hard work has paid off and I’m taking more time to enjoy the world around me.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m still a workaholic and absolutely love what I do. That said, I’m shifting focus to things in life that are more important than a career. For example, making friends!

Under my stoic demeanor is a huge heart and a goofy personality. I work with a lot of “professional” types that I definitely stand out amongst. I’m heavily tattooed, wear the same outfit everyday (hope you don’t mind all black with a hat haha), and I’m super comfortable in my skin. I very much believe in authenticity and try to be my most authentic self in everything I do.

Aside from work, other things I am interested in: music, cars, movies, woodworking, chess, math and physics, dogs (I have two that I will smother you with pictures of), animals in general, traveling, food and cooking, 420/alcohol friendly, weightlifting, gardening, and much more. Hopefully you find some common ground in all that!

Physically, I am 6'1", blue eyes, bald with a beard, average build. Like I mentioned above, I pretty much always have a hat on, have tons of tattoos, and would say my vibes are kinda skate or streetwear.

So what am I looking for?

First, someone that is independent and has their ish together but you’re also playful and if anything a bit immature. I have a huge loving heart and it would be great if you did too. I really enjoy people that I can have a deep or emotional conversation with but also talk about random nonsense.

I’m also a HUGE traveler! I love new experiences and I really believe experiences are so much more meaningful when shared with others. So I would love to find an eventual travel companion (key word eventual! Let’s get to know each other first, you psycho! haha!). This year’s destinations include Denmark, Portugal, and Japan. In addition, I have lots of small trips planned for US destinations. I travel somewhere at least once a month and often take last minute weekend trips. I would LOVE to find a regular travel partner that enjoys exploration and can show up somewhere without an itinerary and “wing it.”

Final thing is that I have NO romantic expectations. I tend to really click with women (I’m not a very “manly” man) and thus M4F. That said, I also am not in any sort of relationship so it’s not off the table. I just don’t approach things like this from the perspective of finding a mate or partner. If we become best friends and that’s it, awesome and I am content. If more, that’s cool too. It’s by no means my expectation though.
