So for context I saw the first movie 4 times in theaters (yea i know what a cornball) but I really enjoyed it and wanted to support it. So needless to say I was anticipating Folie a Deux with open arms. I didn't see it opening night but I saw it opening weekend. So as I look around (not lookong for spoilers but just reading headlines) I see that the movie is getting a ton of hate. So I go to see it on the saturday of opening weekend and I loved it. Yes its a musical. Yes sometimes the music takes more center stage than it should. But every musical number fits in perfectly with the narrative of the movie. Also Lady Gaga was an excellent Harley Quinn. She bought something different and somewhat unique to the role. I loved Margot Robbie. But her Harley Quinn wouldn't fit in this movie/world. Honestly I truly enjoyed it and will see it again. I just wonder am i the only fan of this lovely movie?
