I’m looking for someone to watch stuff and shoot the breeze with. I’m interested in friendship only at the moment; my optimism regarding finding someone special has been sufficiently stifled for the foreseeable future.

Anime: Favourites include Aharen-san wa Hakarenai, Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro, and Tonikawa: Over the Moon for You. From that list, you'll have an idea of the genre of anime I'm most a fan of. I like watching anime that are fun, happy, and enjoyable, with no dramatic stress or peril. I like slice-of-life anime, something relaxed and/or funny, and nothing heavy.

Real-Life Crime: I’m into real-life crime in general, especially Crimewatch UK and The FBI Files.

Crimewatch was an old UK show that started in 1984, and featured reconstructions of unsolved crimes, photo appeals, etc. It aired monthly, and was really good, at least until around 2000 or so when the BBC decided to try and jazz it up, and slowly turned into unbearable tripe. The FBI Files aired on the Discovery Channel, and centred on one crime or set of crimes, using dramatic re-enactments and interviews to tell the story of the case and how it was eventually solved.

I have almost every episode of Crimewatch from 1984 until 2002, and the entire run of the FBI Files.

Pro Wrestling: I’m a long-time fan of pro wrestling and it would be great to have someone to watch matches with on Discord. I have a large collection of matches (virtually all of them from Japan) that I want to watch, yet, unless I have the extra incentive of having someone to watch them with, it’ll take aeons before I watch them all. I’m open to watching other matches, older classics, territorial stuff from the 80s, etc, although I have no interest in watching WWE.

Mixed Martial Arts: I’ve been a fan of Mixed Martial Arts for a long time, since before the term MMA was even invented. It’s mostly the UFC I watch, although I also watch most of the promotions on Fight Pass. It would be great to have someone to watch fights, both old and new, and other programs together on Discord, etc.

We can watch other things as well, including movies, though these are my primary interests.
