feeling of something being too big and too small at the same time
Post Body

Female, 25y. Ever since I can remember I have been visited by this sensation/feeling. It was always a curious thing, occurring at night when I am getting ready to go to sleep. It would only visit a few times a year. There was nothing scary about it. It was always just this odd feeling that I had no words for, still struggle with describing it but I'll give it my best.

When I was younger it was smaller, now it is more expansive and can be present in my daytime hours if I think about it, though it's usually out of sight out of mind. Wow I have no idea how to describe it. The sensation sometimes starts on my tongue and I picture a sliver of a jolly rancher as a way to understand it. But essentially it's the feeling of something being too big and too small at the same time. I don't know if I feel it physically or more energetically.

Last night it visited and I decided to roll it around in my brain more than I have before. Recently it's taken up more space, filling up my head?! But last night it got overwhelmingly, encompassing my whole body almost. I felt completely hollow, with just stencils holding me together and extremely heavy and big at the same time. It was extremely uncomfortable and was still present once I opened my eyes. I just had to breathe through it, say I can be uncomfortable and okay.

So yeah, that's it. Does anyone else experience anything similar?! I have diagnosed ocd, ptsd and bpd and am currently doing research on autism and adhd because I have some traits/symptoms of those too. I've also considered this to a spiritual thing, some other thing in contact with me or me tapping into some psychic abilities I don't know i have.
