I got off work tonight and I sat at the bar as I always do and ordered a drink. Im a cook in the kitchen there. As I was sitting one of the server girls came up to me and said "don't look now but the lady behind you told me she was feeling an energy about one of the cooks that works here." I thought it was super random but I believe in those types of things so I asked her what else she said. She started asking me if I was having problems in my relationship, I said yes actually I am! And she asked if I felt like I was being walked all over by my girlfriend and if I'm just allowing her to do it. At this point my heart is starting to beat faster because that is exactly what I've been going through lately, like EXACTLY. She went back to work and then came back a little later to tell me more. She told me "the lady said that when you and her break up, you need to learn and know that it's just time to let her go." My girlfriend and I have been breaking up and getting back together over and over the past month, and we have been trying to work on things but in the back of my mind I know we aren't supposed to be together. She almost seems like a sociopath to be honest. The server then told me " let her go. And a year from now someone in your inner circle will become your rock." I couldn't stop thinking about it. It was so spot on and it's been weighing on me so heavily lately. After I got off work I told me gf about it, she started taking the defensive saying I was putting her in a bad mood. Then I started to lay it all out for her and tell her exactly why this isn't working and why I think she's a shitty person to me, and in general. We broke up tonight. And I'm done for good and it really opened my eyes. So thanks random medium lady. I needed that.
