I posted this in another subreddit and received some decent advice, but I would like another opinion. I (26M) have recently begun to see faces of a few different people as I'm going to sleep over the past few weeks. I have always seen faint squiggly colors when I look at walls and ceilings, but the other night they were more prominent than ever.

As I fell asleep, I kept seeing a man in a suit staring at me from a distance In a black void. It freaked me out. Next thing I know this man was like transforming to appear in front of me from a green light or mist. ( Kinda like a power ranger transforming) When the light got to his face, I decided to wake up. Funny thing is I've never lucid dreamed before. When I tried to awaken myself I realized I was in sleep paralysis, I couldn't physically move, but I was able to scream my SO's name until I fully came out of it

Can someone explain this to me?
