I inadvertently went into some meditation this morning. I was hungry. TV off. No sounds. Reading "The Wisdom of Solitude" by Jane Dobisz. My stomach was rolling with hunger. So I decided to close the book and listen.
I love the noise no noise creates. It's like I'm being swaddled. I close my eyes and listen to my stomach roll. As whatever is in there travels it's path. I start to slip into meditation. Which led me to what I love.
Nothing supernatural. I'm not seeing color or images (I have aphantasia, so it's nothing but blackness). But as my brain cleans itself I'm hearing it filter through my life. Music, dialogue, sound. In brief snippets. And it made me smile.
