I do. I don't share that part, including my liking for listening to chants and other 'medicine music' like Trevor Hall, Ajeet Kaur etc. . I also don't talk about meditation unless someone asks or is already into meditation.
When one of my friends found out I was going for a chant concert by Krishna Das, he said 'Since when did you turn into a religious freak?' . In fact, I feel the least religious now. The chants are more about what it makes me feel than any blind faith in a God outside of me. I fear similar kinds of judgements from my other friends: that they would think I am crazy if I really share this side of myself.
Therefore, I try to hide this part of my life as much as possible from my worldly friends. Of course, I do share this to friends who are spiritually inclined, but I only have a handful of them.
What about you?
