So, I’m not sure if this has been asked before, but I’m curious. I have been meditating for 4 days as of today (yay me!) and it works! I feel calmer, better breathing techniques, the whole deal.

The thing is, yesterday I decided to start meditating in my room on a yogamat. But I keep fidgeting, squirming, moving, get itchy and whatever not. Prior to this I meditated in my backyard, and had no problems at all. I could easily do 20 minutes or more. The reason why I stopped is because I have room mates who sometimes pass me, and while this doesn’t really bother me, I figured being alone would work better.

Am I twitchy because I moved to my room? Or is this normal?
