Need Help with Posture

Hi, been trying to have good posture while sitting but after ten minutes (or less) I'm slouching. Half of my formal practice is paying attention to the slouch but it becomes hard to do other types of meditations when my focus is on my back and shoulders all the time. I've heard people saying they had permanently good posture after doing determination sits. I don't do determination sits presently. I know what proper posture is, it's just my body won't do it. Also, I have no core strength, lol. Any ideas on how to get better?
