I am really getting into Insight meditation & feel its the one for me. I tried breath meditation & guided but insight seems to be the one that I can actually follow. I find it easier to concentrate on sensations & label them rather than trying to concentrate on the breath.
Today I walked out to the car & I suddenly felt present as i felt the breeze & warm sun on my skin which I immediately noted. I keep noticing when I am in my own world thinking like I am often then able to take my awareness somewhere else. It's early days but I feel positive about it.
Are there any disadvantages of insight meditation over concentration?
