How to begin visualisation

I want to get good at visualisation techniques, I think it could help me a lot with my anxiety. E.g., visualising kicking arse in that meeting I have coming up or beating an opponent in kickboxing when we spar.

I just don't even know where to begin. I've done some mindfulness meditation for the last month or so - Headspace - but I'm not sure where to go from here.
