Hello, I have recently been wondering if there is a way to use some form of meditation to trigger blood flow to your muscles to trigger what weight lifters call a "Pump" a way to warm up without physically moving.
I have come across Tibetan Heat Yoga, where one starts with an ice cold towel and steams it to dry by controlling their body heat.
I would like to know from experienced meditators who have done this or know how to, what is the mental focus on? Things I have found say picturing fire going in and out is how they do it, so would this translate to the blood flow by imagining my capillaries opening?
Any help will help.
