I recently (re)started meditating daily - TM.

I usually pick up a frequency or a chant and try to stay for as long as I can. Usually 17 minutes.

In these three weeks Iā€™ve found that Iā€™ve become extremely irritable, and am quick to get disproportionally infuriated, in little to no time. Earlier while still quick tempered, the intensity used to be fractional of what I feel now.

My goal when restarting was to get calmer.

Has anyone had similar experiences, have theories or advice?

If it adds any value to the discussion, while I used to be skeptical of ā€˜rising energiesā€™ and ā€˜untangling emotionsā€™ Iā€™ve noticed that my experience is peppered with several violent jerks in my back and temple. Iā€™d love to learn to explore those instances
