I assume, like many others I didnt build my settlement near a cave. What do I need to create a mining station away from the main village? I managed to find one and built a resource storage and excavation station next to it.
Do I need worker's houses there? Or is the 1000m trek every morning going to decrease their productivity? Can they get mauled by bears living by the mining entrances?
