Are longer or shorter seasons better or worse?

Post Body

Hello! Could I ask for some collective wisdom? From y'all's experiences what's the best length for a season?

Im currently on my first playthrough and am ejoying the game so far. I set my seasons for 4 days but I'm finding myself in situations where I wish I had more time for crops and quests. I've read though that making seasons too long is detrimental to the experience in the long term.

I'm considering restarting and making the seasons longer but am afraid that this will cause issues late game. What would your recommendation be from your experience?

Someone on this Subreddit told me they do 16 day seasons, then every year they drop 2 days off since time seems to move faster the older you get. I loved the idea and do that now.
