Why do I feel more social and less anxious since starting Protonix?

I started Protonix about a week ago for acid reflux. I've already noticed a big change physically, but I've been seeing some mental changes as well. I've much more outgoing and open since I started the medication. I'm suddenly making friends at work, not feeling anxious when I make phone calls, etc. Is there any basis for this or is it all in my head?
