Is medical coding a good second career for a tech pro?
Post Body

I've spent the last 10 years in tech and I'm a little burned out. After trying a few options within tech, I think I've reached a point where it's time to move on. I'm autistic and need to work from home. It would be nice to have a job where I know what I'm walking into every morning and the landscape isn't drastically changing every 3 months.

I have a bachelor's degree, although in computer science. I have a little exposure to biology thru undergraduate research, but otherwise would be starting from scratch as far as medical experience. The salary doesn't matter for now, but I'd love to have the option to grow into more advanced health information management roles of course. Medical coding seems to fit with what I'm after, unless there's a more applicable tech -> healthcare career path.
