Advice regarding potential job offer
Post Body

I have been a receptionist in veterinary medicine for 6 years, I took a course at a local community college and am now a CPC-A. I have been putting out a lot of applications and finally got an interview at a private practice psychiatric office for a billing job. The benefits are average, but the office seems like it is really busy and there's a lot more phone work involved than I thought. They wanted a CPC but it doesn't seem like there will be any coding involved. Is this a good foot in the door job? If I get the money I want should I take it? I'm burnt out in my current field and want to transition away from customer service, will this job help? I'm so scared toeave a good job, even though it's time.
