Question about mighty medic dosing capsules

Hi friends, I got a mighty medic with the dosing capsules and some Eve flower, I'm not too knowledgeable about vaping. When filling the capsules do I want to pack down the bowl with the little poker they have clipped into the vape?
Edit: also how am I meant to know when there's nothing left to vape in the capsule? Is it just when there's no vapor being produced anymore?
