Significant income increase during the summer
Post Body
I am a graduate student moving to a new state. I will be enrolled in Medicaid during the academic year (September - June), where I will make less than the income threshold for Medicaid. However, during the summer months, I will be working full-time at a job that will bump me above the threshold.
What do I do?
Not report the change and risk ramifications at tax time?
Drop Medicaid coverage for the summer and re-enroll when I am poor again in the fall?
Thank you!
