Hello, I’m unsure if I can ask this here? Could use some resources or knowledge about this

I am about to lose my parents health insurance and medicaid is looking like my only option since I work part time and am low income… thing is, I spend half the year in VT and half in PA so unsure if I can apply in either state. My license is PA. I have addresses in both.

My medication (Vyvanse) is “non preferred” in PA and needs prior auth, does anyone have experience with this? I’m afraid I’ll be denied or made to jump through hoops, I feel mentally stable and my adhd and mental health are well managed for the first time in god knows how long and I’d hate to lose access to my meds…

If I am in VT part of the year, would I have to pay out of pocket or can I use my insurance there? If I have an emergency in VT would I be able to use it? And the other way around too.
