Hi, people! I work as a volunteer lab aid for over a year now sa isang free-standing lab since I have so much free time since I was delayed for a year and currently only taking 1 subject which takes only about 2 hrs per week. Working as a volunteer is very much fulfilling in a sense that I really love the Medtech profession and I get to enhance my expertise in the said field since the lab caters a lot of patient din. However, sometimes the working environment just becomes toxic due to my superiors and workmates (they are compensated btw), sometimes they let me handle tedious tasks and challenging jobs, such as pinapakausap sa mga galit na patients and letting me deal with them kahit hindi ko naman kasalanan or sometimes doing something super irrelevant to the field. I considered quitting to the lab and just focus on that back-subject pero iniisip ko what would I do on the remaining days of the week and I’m worried I might forget the skills or loose my passion to the profession. Your thoughts regarding my situation are very much appreciated.
PS: I feel like the title is somewhat irrelevant sa story hahaha I just want to qoute George sa The How’s of Us 😆
