Where does the negative cable go to from battery terminal? 03 sequoia

My friend is having some electrical.issues and is trying to replace the ground cable... The heavy one from the negative battery terminal. He's trying to follow it but it goes into a thicker wire bundle so I thought I'd try to find out where it goes to before cutting into that whole mess.... Where does it terminate?
