Before the mods hit me with a "check the Wiki" the Wiki pages keep showing a "page not found" page. I tried going on my PC as well and got the same response. I really tried to look it up.
I am not a mechanical person at all. I study history and philosophy at university. If a machine does not turn on when I click the power button, I immediately get annoyed. However, I saw a post from this subreddit and it awoken this drive in me I never had before. I thought "I wanna build that". I tried to look it up but there just so much info out there and I know so little it got overwhelming quickly
So some of the questions. 1. Do I need any special tools to help build the keyboard or can I start at the beginning with more generic tools a layman will have? 2. What is a recommended keyboard for people who like more of a sound from their keyboards? I personally like the sound of clacking on my keys. Also, lower the starting price the better since I'm a noob. 3. Any good youtube channels that kind of ease me into learning it? And any good websites for colors and what not? 4. Is there a discord for this subreddit?
I think that is the base info I need to start kinda working. I promise I won't ask anymore questions via post, maybe one or two in the comments of a post that makes me wonder something.
Sorry to bother anyone with this and sorry mods if I broke a rule. Have a good day!
