I'm currently looking at the Leopold FC700R, Ducky Zero Shine TKL (DK2087S), or the Ducky Shine 3 TKL (DK9087S3).
As this is my first mech, I try to avoid spending too much and in my country, these 3 are within my budget. The problem with the Leopold is the lack of back light, and not much reviews on the internet think too highly of this brand. There's also the issue with the irreplaceable space bar (?). The next/back track buttons are really nice to have though.
The Ducky Zero Shine TKL cost about $40 less in here. But I'm not entirely sure what the difference is with the Ducky Shine 3 other than the LED options and the fact that the Ducky Zero is manufactured in China to reduce costs.
TL DR; I don't really need the back light options of the Shine 3, but I'm curious about the difference in build quality of the Taiwanese made Shine 3 and the Chinese made Zero Shine. I considered the Leopold primarily for the complete media buttons but have no idea about the feel and build quality of the board.
WHICH ONE SHOULD I GET FOLKS? I'M SO TORN
