Do pumps require flexible connector in suction and discharge?
Post Body
The pump (used for water supply distribution) in my workplace was installed without flexible connector. Is this a good or bad practice? As far as I know all rotating/vibrating elements shall be isolated. All though the pump motor was installed with spring isolators, should the suction and discharge use a flexible connector to completely isolate the vibrations?
