Moving from mechanical engineer to Program Manager not sure how to feel?

Hello,
So today I got promoted from an engineer to a program manager.
Not sure how to feel as I’ll be stepping away from engineering work which I love, to now a leadership role.
What are the pros and cons to this?
Any insight or motivation would help.
Never been in a manager role.
