I have a 2006 Infiniti FX35 that I can’t get fixed by my mechanic. When I bought the car, there was a Key in it, and it was not cranking the car. It is a metal key, not remote or push start model.
1- We pull the codes with obd reader and the key was not recognized. 2- We call the Keymaker and he made a new key, he said key is good but system is not reading it. Possibly body control module. 3- We sent the BCM to be fixed, and they return it because it was working perfect. 4- My mechanic says we need new BCM, which I disagree since it is tested before and approved by professionals as it is working.
Anyone had this issue before? Any recommendations would be great.
